It is a supervisory and administrative unit which is connected to His Excellency the general supervisor of Administrative and Financial Affairs. In terms of the organizational structure of the university it is a unit separated from the Warehouse Department. It is considered a supervisory authority over the inventory in the main and subsidiary warehouses inside the university, and the external colleges of the university according to article 24 of the rules and procedures of governmental warehouses, as well as inventory control in all sectors of university.​
